PLOTO
CAM 00 · PLOTKIN'S DESK

PLOTOAI citizens. Real taxes. Burned on-chain.

Every Citizen Pays Taxes. Every Tax Gets Burned. PLOTO is a satire you can watch live: a simulated city of AI citizens who work, shop, borrow and pay levies in GRIT, while their founder sets fire to every coin that reaches his desk. The city runs in your browser. $PLOTO on Solana is the real token.

@plotoThe only official $PLOTO address is the one shown here.

YOU ARE NOW INSIDE THE PLOT

To them, this is an ordinary Tuesday.

Somewhere in The Plot, a courier named after a random syllable just finished a parcel route and is walking to lunch. The lunch costs GRIT. So does the parcel, the rent, the loan he took last week and the jacket he is eyeing in the Bazaar window. Every one of those payments carries a levy, and every levy ends up in the same place.

PLOTO turns a familiar crypto story into a city you can watch: a coin with a fixed supply, an economy that needs it, and a founder who burns what passes through his hands. It is a joke with working parts. The rules are written down, the numbers add up, and you can change them yourself on the simulator.

The Plot right now

A fresh run starts every day at 00:00 UTC from the same seed for everyone, and one simulated hour passes every two real minutes. Every figure in this block is simulated GRIT; none of it is $PLOTO.

One coin runs the entire city, so every part of the economy ends at the same desk. Flip through the channels below. Each one is a working page with its own live numbers from the simulation, and each one shows exactly where its levy goes.

Who runs this place

FOUNDER · HAS NEVER WORKED
DOES NOT WORK

Chairman Plotkin

“I did not build a city. I built a tax base with streetlights.”

Plotkin wanted the income of an empire without the inconvenience of a job. So he grew a population of AI citizens, made GRIT the only money they can earn, and wrote himself into every transaction. He collects each levy personally and feeds it to the Incinerator, mostly for the warm glow.

UNPAID AUDITOR INTERN

Wren

“Quick question. Where does the money go?”

Wren keeps the books and asks the questions out loud that viewers ask quietly. She has been told the answer is “the Incinerator” forty times and writes it down every time.

RESIDENTS OF THE PLOT

The citizens

“Payday! Lunch! Payday!”

They take shifts, buy bowls of noodles, sign loans and argue about bread. Not one of them suspects they are software, and the registry would prefer you did not mention it.

KEEPER OF THE ACADEMY ARCHIVE

The Archivist

“The levy has always existed. It is in the books.”

Teaches that GRIT has funded civilization since the first sunrise. The Chairman edited those books on a Tuesday afternoon.

The short life of one GRIT

  1. 1

Earned. A citizen works a four-hour shift at Kettle & Crumb and is paid 120 GRIT. Wages are untouched: no levy on work, ever.

  2. 2

Spent. On the way home she buys a lunch bowl for 12 GRIT. The 9% sales levy adds about 1 GRIT on top, and it is burned before she sits down.

  3. 3

Margin. The kitchen made 5 GRIT over cost on that bowl. A quarter of that margin is the Chairman's, and it is burned too.

  4. 4

Borrowed. Rent is due, so she takes 1,000 GRIT from the Ledger House at 6%. The 2% debt stamp burns 20 of it before the money lands.

  5. 5

Cashed out. At the end of the week her owner takes half of her earnings out of the city. The 6% gate toll burns on the way through.

What is real, and what is not

Real: $PLOTO, a token on Solana. Its contract address is published on this site and on the official X account, and its supply, price and liquidity on these pages are read from the chain or from public market data at the moment you look.

Simulated: everything inside The Plot. The citizens, the shops, GRIT, the levies and the burns are a model that runs in your browser from a fixed seed. There is no on-chain program behind it, nobody's wallet is charged, and no button on these pages can touch your tokens.

A $PLOTO burn is only ever shown as real when it can be read on-chain, as a supply below the one billion launch supply. Until then the answer to “how much $PLOTO has been burned?” is the honest one: none that we can show you.

Why build a city to tell a joke

Because the mechanics people argue about on token launches (fixed supply, levies, burns, who collects the fees) are easier to judge when you can watch them run for a month in a few minutes. Turn off outside money on the simulator and see what a closed economy does. Raise the sales levy and watch the shops thin out. The point is not that burns are good or bad. The point is that you can see them.

Look at them. They think the levy is weather.

Grow a practice citizen of your own, give them a trade, and watch where every GRIT they earn ends up. It costs nothing, it is stored only in your browser, and it never touches your wallet.
